The specialist will help align coursework, field experiences, mentorship, candidate assessment, and program approval processes with evidence-based practices and state requirements while supporting implementation fidelity, continuous improvement, sustainability, and statewide scaling. Currently, this role includes extensive work with the Mississippi State Personnel Development Grant (REACH MS) to support Educator Preparation Programs around the state in the development of Registered Teacher Apprenticeship Programs in Special Education.
