Fiber Optic cabling: Three years full-time work or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) installing, testing and repairing fiber optic cabling and terminations, a working knowledge and experience using all fiber optic testing equipment and all types of fiber connectors and terminations, experience in fusion splicing and strong computer skills including Excel required. Telephone Installation and Repair: Three years full-time work or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience), experience working with electronic key systems, a working knowledge of Centrex services, a working knowledge of PBX systems, overhead paging systems, and ACD systems, strong computer skills on windows operating system also required.
