Overview:
Kimley-Horn's San Antonio, Texas (TX) office is looking for Engineering graduates with 1+ years of experience to join their Land Development team. This is not a remote position. 

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Perform site development engineering and project management tasks for a variety of projects</li><li>Complete site civil design, permitting, and applicable software applications including hydrology modeling program, storm drainage programs, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D</li><li>Projects will include a variety of land development site designs</li><li>In addition to strong technical experience, other responsibilities will include research, coordination, project management, staff management, cost estimating, permitting for land disturbance and preparation of bid packages as well as technical specifications</li><li>As a critical member of the team, you will perform a variety of engineering tasks and will receive both on-the-job and formal training as well as mentorship and exposure to plan production, project financials, and client interactions</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>1+ years experience with a civil engineering design firm   </li><li>Bachelors or Masters from an ABET accredited university in the field of Civil Engineering</li><li>Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D </li><li>Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills</li><li>Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines</li><li>Detail-oriented with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment</li><li>Ability to work independently and as a team</li></ul>

Successful intern applicants will become a short-term, but integral, part of the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater treatment projects including pipelines, pump stations, treatment facilities, and planning projects.

 Providence Infrastructure is seeking students pursuing degrees in civil, environmental, chemical, or mechanical engineering (or related field) - and other interested candidates - to join us for a 6 to 9 month paid Co-op/Internship opportunity at our office in New Braunfels, Texas. This position is for either the 2026 Spring and Summer or Summer 2026 and Fall 2026 Semester. A co-op is an amazing experience where the student works with Providence for 6-9 months full time. The student will need to take the semester off school and work with their career center about their co-op requirements. Providence is a water/wastewater design firm that is involved in all types of water and wastewater projects. POSITION FUNCTION Successful intern applicants will become a short-term, but integral, part of the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater treatment projects including pipelines, pump stations, treatment facilities, and planning projects.
