Under the supervision of the Community Events Manager, the Community Events Coordinator assists the City of Mansfield Parks and Recreation Department with the planning, organization, setup, execution, monitoring, and breakdown of special events throughout the City. When needed, assist with desk operations at the Mansfield Activities Center, Parks and Recreation Administration, and Geyer Commons by greeting guests, answering questions, and providing event and facility information.

Community Events Coordinator-Parks (Part-Time 26 Hours/Week)

Position Summary: The Service Coordinator/ Group Facilitator is responsible for the delivery of direct services to the clients and families specifically facilitation of group and recreational sessions as designated by the Community Youth Development Program. Must be prepared to administer emergency First Aid, CPR, AED and/or Handle with Care techniques to youth and adults regardless of the time of day or hour of the shift, the size of the youth, or the staffs level of personal fatigue.
