How you'll make an impact in this role:
<ul><li>Deliver safe, high-quality patient care as a Radiologic Technologist Student, supporting accurate diagnostic imaging under supervision of a Registered Radiologic Technologist.</li><li>Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, selecting appropriate exposure and technical factors to ensure image quality and patient safety.</li><li>Implement radiation safety standards and follow compliance guidelines to protect patients, staff, and support quality improvement initiatives.</li><li>Assist licensed Radiologic Technologists and physicians during imaging procedures, strengthening care coordination across the interdisciplinary team.</li><li>Support accurate clinical documentation and workflow within Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR) while maintaining a clean, safe imaging environment.</li></ul>

What minimum qualifications you'll need:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:<ul><li>BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>High school diploma equivalency OR Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline required.</li></ul>

GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION: Primary responsibilities include teaching applied lessons to approximately 5-8 students per semester. Additional responsibilities may include coaching the student brass quartet or other chamber ensembles. Faculty are expected to accept courses as assigned which could include face-to-face and non-traditional venues, such as evening, weekend, dual credit, blended, and/or online courses. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, maintaining office hours, working across departments to develop student communication, and computation and critical thinking skills. The department is housed in the Ball Performing Arts Center and the Music and Theatre Arts Building. There are currently 10 full-time Faculty/Staff and 14 adjunct instructors in the Music Department. In addition to an active recital schedule which includes 1-2 Steinway Series concerts, McLennan Music and Theatre Departments collaborate yearly to produce a fully staged Opera and Broadway Musical with orchestra. McLennan Community College is an All Steinway School. WORKING CONDITIONS:Restricted-Sustained posture, for prolonged periods; light lifting, some walking, pushing, pulling on a regular basis. Minimal Hazard/Exposure-Standard office setting. At least minimal environmental controls are in place to assure health and comfort. BENEFITS: Part-Time Retirement.
