SUMMARY: Under general supervision, monitors aquatics facility and guests, enforces established rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, performs pool and facility maintenance; coordinates and organizes activities and special events; teaches swimming classes to all age groups and monitors the activities of swimmers in swim lessons; performs related duties as required. California Public Resource Code §5164, and Penal Code §11105.3 which requires public recreation employees having direct contact with minors to be fingerprinted prior to employment and all pre-employment screening processes required for the job, which will include a pre-employment physical, tuberculosis (TB) test, and drug screen test paid for by the City.
