Beacon Centers are school-based community hubs that operate afterschool, evenings, weekends, school holidays, and summers, offering academic support, recreation, arts, sports, leadership development, and enrichment programming for elementary, middle school, and high school youth, along with adult and family programming, community events, and partner-led activities that make the school building a resource for the entire neighborhood. Serve as the public voice of the program by representing the Beacon Center at community board meetings, school events, parent association meetings, resource fairs, tenant and resident association meetings, and other community gatherings.
