To be considered for this position, candidates must possess an associate's degree or higher education certificate in Culinary Arts, Baking and Pastry Arts, Foodservice Management, Nutrition, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline; ten years of relevant industry experience in a commercial foodservice kitchen, including time in a management or supervisory role; at least two years of experience in general instructional matters related to the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs; and a ServSafe Food Manager Certification. The Instructional Generalist (IG)assists the HCTI Director with the administration, curriculum oversight, faculty management, and operations of the HCTI and serves as the subject matter expert for accreditation compliance with the American Culinary Federation.
