Progression of Duties: Student pharmacists in the hospital setting advance from operational workflow and sterile compounding in Year 1, to deeper responsibilities in oral chemotherapy, therapy modification, and interdisciplinary collaboration in Year 2, expanded integration with counseling, medication safety, and cultural competence in Year 3, and full clinical integration with personalized medicine, advanced collaboration, and culturally responsive care in Year 4.
