p>SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting a certified teacher in implementing a multi-sensory individualized education plan (IEP) for each severely emotionally disturbed child in a classroom with six to twelve students with special emphasis on maintenance of discipline and working one on one with student.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
In the course of performing this on-site job, the incumbent typically spends time standing, running, walking on sloped/hilly areas of campus, climbing stairs carrying, driving, lifting (up to 40 pounds), listening, speaking, reaching, writing, and participating in restraint procedures.
