TSP provides services focused on teaching daily living skills, social and recreational skills, time management skills, interpersonal skills, conflict resolution skills, coping skills and symptom management skills; with the ultimate goal of helping Young Adults transition to independent living. TSP is a Supported Apartment Program for Young Adults ages 18-25 and is staffed 24/7 by a multidisciplinary team consisting of an Employment Specialist, Therapist, Residential Counselors, Administrative Assistant, Residential Supervisor and Program Director.

The Nurse (RN) will be accountable to the Program Director and will coordinate functions and activities that provide for, maintain, and promote the health of persons in need of psychiatric services The Registered Nurse is one who actively promotes the Center’s philosophy, and maintains a high level of commitment to the program. We're looking for a Registered Nurse [RN] to join our Adult Programs that include the Department of Developmental (DDS) and the Adult Clinical Community Services.
Experience: Two years’ experience in the provision of mental health services required for applicants without a Bachelor’s degree; Experience working with adults with Serious Mental Illness in a residential or supported living setting preferred; experience providing skills building teaching in group format preferred. Group topics include nutritional counseling, money management, ADLs, interpersonal skills, medication management, coping skills, substance use education and leisure skills.
p>A community based group home that provides 24 hour staffing and a built-in therapeutic component for 5 girls, aged 13-18 who have experienced trauma and loss, who have serious emotional and behavioral problems and who have lived in more restrictive programs or institutions.
p>Mills House is a community-based group home which provides 24 hour staffing and a built in therapeutic component for 5 boys aged 14-21 who have experienced serious emotional and behavioral problems, and who have lived in more restrictive programs or institutions. The program emphasizes maximizing each boy's ability to develop skills for living successfully outside of an institutional setting through the participation in normative community activities.
