Responsibilities include leading lectures, recitations, and laboratories; developing and modernizing curricula, design projects, case studies, problem sets, and exams; holding office hours; mentoring students; supporting Canvas and Piazza; coordinating grading; and supervising graduate teaching assistants. The Senior Lecturer will develop propulsion materials covering diesel engines, gas turbines, advanced nuclear propulsion, power transmission, propellers, and cavitation; guide propulsion-plant tradeoffs and prime-mover matching; and troubleshoot simulation models.
