Individual will assist with basic lab protocols including molecular biology as requested and will be responsible for basic lab maintenance and chores including washing glassware, preparing simple solutions, preparing media, autoclaving supplies and waste, taking trash to dumpster, etc.to keep laboratory space neat, orderly and clean. Individual will provide assistance with basic field and laboratory research as requested including tissue sample collection, pollinations, basic data collection, disease screening, and setting up field studies including labeling and placing flags, stakes and markers.
