This exciting position offers the opportunity to ensure our student community enjoys a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained living environment in beautiful Boone, NC. Responsibilities: <ul><li>Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.</li><li>Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and ensure timely resolution.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.</li><li>Assist in the preparation of apartments for new residents, including repairs and cleaning.</li><li>Collaborate with the property management team to enhance overall property quality.</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service to residents and maintain a positive community atmosphere.</li></ul>Requirements: <ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC certification a plus but not required.</li><li>Proven experience in maintenance or a related field, preferably in residential settings.</li><li>Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, or ability to learn.</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot and repair various maintenance issues efficiently.</li><li>Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.</li><li>Willingness to be on-call for emergency maintenance situations.</li><li>Must be willing to live on-site in company-paid housing after successful completion of a 90-day probationary period.</li><li>As an alternative to living on-site, you must live no more than a 30-minute drive from the property.</li></ul>About Us: University Highlands Student Apartments has been providing exceptional housing solutions exclusively for Appalachian State University students in Boone, NC, for over a decade.
