The School Psychologist provides psychoeducational services to students (birth to 22), parents, instructional staff and administration; works cooperatively with other professionals, specialists and appropriate agencies in assigned areas to implement state laws and State Department of Education and Placer County regulations to alternative education and special education programs. The vision of the Placer County Superintendent of Schools and the Placer County Board of Education is to provide exemplary leadership and service to schools, students, parents and the community as we work together to provide a globally competitive, comprehensive, rigorous and relevant education to all students (including Special Education and At-Risk).
