The Waring Center for Public Archaeology, in partnership with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, is carrying out a Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA)-related project involving the assessment and processing of several archaeological collections associated with the Etowah Mounds site in Bartow County, Georgia. Previous experience in a laboratory setting, records management, digitization, data entry, artifact or osteological (bone) identification, or a background or interest in archaeology, history, archives, education, art history, museum studies/museum science, or computer science is preferred but not required.
