They work with prospective, current, and former students to help them understand certificate and degree offerings, identify the right program of study to align with professional or future educational goals, develop academic plans, check completion progress, clarify and uphold College policies and processes, connect students to resources for success, and act as trusted mentors to guide students on their path to achieving their academic and professional goals. Assist full-time Academic Advisors in supporting new, continuing, and returning students through first-year retention and persistence in their desired program, as well as timely graduation, through student engagement across various modalities, including in-person, virtual, individual, group, and online communication.
