Provides one-on-one or small group tutoring in assigned location (i.e. in-person, online, in the classroom); Works with a diverse student population to support learning of key concepts and study strategies; Provides students with positive and constructive feedback; Maintains accurate records of tutoring sessions; Collaborates with faculty, students, and other stakeholders to support student success; Continuously engages in professional growth and development, including staying current in the curricula, leveraging best practices, and reviewing student feedback; May assist in developing materials to support tutoring in the discipline or student skills; Other duties as assigned by Dean/Coordinator. Required qualifications: Completed degree(s) from an accredited and/or students who have completed SDEV 101, 105, or related course with at least a grade of B; knowledge of the campus and community college environment; ability to clearly and effectively explain subject matter to students; and, experience working with individuals with diverse backgrounds.
