Job Description: Position: Clinical Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Location: Colorado Mesa University Student Wellness Center/Community Care of the Grand Valley Schedule: PRN/PoolThis position will be posted through April 30, 2026, and may remain open longer until filled. Responsibilities:<ul><li>Provides patient care to assigned patients in the practice per hospital standards and procedures.</li></ul><ul><li>Interviews patients, measures all vital signs as required for meaningful use. To include but not limited to, pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information on patients' charts.</li></ul><ul><li>Assists provider with assigned patients in the clinic per hospital standards and procedures</li><li>Completes administrative functions as requested</li><li>Inventories and submits orders to the Practice Administrator for all medical supplies, materials and medications.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Certified EMT/Registered EMT required</li><li>two (2) years of related experience preferred</li><li>Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association)</li></ul>Compensation:<ul><li> $20.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on education and experience.</li><li>Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increases, market adjustments, recognition bonuses and other forms of discretionary compensation may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance.</li></ul><ul></ul>Be Extraordinary. Position Highlights:<ul><li>Job Type: Rad Tech Student</li><li>Location: Community Hospital</li><li>Schedule: PRN</li><li>Application Deadline: Open until May 31, 2026</li></ul> Requirements:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Completion of a radiology assistant program or relevant coursework preferred.</li><li>Must be in the second year of a radiology program. </li><li>BLS required</li></ul> Responsibilities: <ul><li>Communicates effectively with patients/families and all care providers.</li><li>Interacts with staff and co-workers in a manner that promotes positive working relationships.</li><li>Checks the order for complete information and appropriateness criteria.</li><li>Obtains sufficient information to determine whether the procedure should be performed immediately or within a specific time frame.</li><li>Adheres to established section and organizational protocols, QA guidelines, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Sets up the imaging room to coincide with the examination being performed to include the use of proper isolations precautions when needed.</li><li>Provide quality customer service, explains all studies to patient in a clear manner, and provide information and resources to patient and family.</li><li>Safely transfers patient to and from carts, beds and wheelchairs utilizing multiple lifting devices.</li><li>Maintains a clean, orderly, well-stocked room.</li><li>Accurately records patient exams and follow proper billing procedures.</li></ul> Compensation:<ul><li>$17.00 - $19.55 per hour, depending on education and experience.</li><li>Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increase, market adjustments, recognition bonuses, and other forms of discretionary compensation may be available.</li></ul>  Additional Information:<ul><li>Relocation: Must relocate to Grand Junction, CO 81505 before starting work.</li><li>Work Location: In-person/onsite</li></ul> Be Extraordinary.
