Quick Link Position Title Culinary Lab Assistant, Student Worker Position Description/RequirementsLincoln Land Community College is seeking Culinary Lab Assistants to provide support in the operation and monitoring of lab processes, equipment and activities in the Culinary Arts Program.Student Workers will perform the following duties:* Assist instructor before class to prep and organize, be available for assistance during class, and monitor and assist in cleanup after class as needed.* Assist in the maintenance of labs including cleaning, organizing, and preventative maintenance. This includes, but is not limited to, washing and putting away dishes, cleaning kitchen equipment, sweeping and mopping, unloading and organizing product and other various general kitchen cleaning.* Assist in the requisition of products for classes. Put away non-used product after class is over. Assist in keeping coolers and dry storage neat, clean, and organized.* Assist in demonstrations or functions as needed.* Prep various food products as needed for lab use and special events.All LLCC Student Workers have the following institutional responsibilities:* Uphold LLCC's mission, as well as certain standards of conduct within the College and in dealings with students, staff, faculty and the general public.* Responsible for compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and other* regulations with regard to confidentiality of and access to student and other institutional records.Student Workers will be paid minimum wage and will be scheduled to work up to 10 hours per week, mainly Monday through Friday.Requirements include the following:* Must maintain satisfactory academic progress* Must be enrolled at least half-time (6 credit hours) during the semester of employment, with the exception of summer term* Complete LLCC's mandatory harassment prevention training within 30 days of employment* Minimum GPA 2.5* Experience in LLCC culinary labs highly preferredIf working with minors, employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check.LLCC strives to create an inclusive workplace and environment for our students, faculty and staff. The Memorial Horizons Program provides students enrolled in Radiography, Surgical Technology, and Sonography degree programs with a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience, receive financial support, and secure a pathway to employment at Memorial Health after graduation. Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited allied health program that aligns with Memorial's workforce needs, maintain the minimum required GPA and have completed all prerequisite coursework.

<h5>Medical Imaging Support </h5><p>Dependent upon the area assigned, provide support to the Medical Imaging Technologist to ensure promptness and efficiency of the patient care process. Ensure patient comfort and safety during the imaging experience to include comprehensive electronic medical record management. </p><p>The Memorial Horizons Program provides students enrolled in Radiography, Surgical Technology, and Sonography degree programs with a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience, receive financial support, and secure a pathway to employment at Memorial Health after graduation. </p><p>The Horizons Program is open to external candidates and current Memorial Health colleagues in the first year of their major program of study and will graduate in May 2027. Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited allied health program that aligns with Memorial's workforce needs, maintain the minimum required GPA and have completed all prerequisite coursework. Applicants must complete an employment application and an interview as part of the competitive selection process. Individuals selected for the Horizons Program must maintain satisfactory academic progress, have no active corrective actions on file, and exhibit behaviors that align with Memorial's values to remain eligible. </p><p>Individuals who are selected for the Horizons Program will work at Memorial Health as a per diem colleague while attending school. This allows participants to gain valuable hands-on experience, work alongside Memorial clinicians, and prepare them for their careers at Memorial after graduation. </p><p>Individuals selected for the Horizons Program will receive a bi-weekly stipend of $1,000.00 during the second year of their program (August 2026-May 2027). Stipends are subject to applicable taxes and deductions. As a Memorial colleague who is working per diem while attending school, you may also be eligible for up to $5250 per calendar year in Tuition Assistance. In addition, individuals selected for the Horizons Program will be eligible for sign-on incentives at the time of graduation. </p><p>Graduates of the Horizons Program will be placed in full-time roles designated by Memorial Health upon meeting all graduation and licensing requirements. Participants must commit to working at Memorial Health for three years after graduation. </p><p>Paid Time Off (PTO), Employee Assistance Program and Colleague Wellness, Benefits - Memorial HR. </p><h5>Qualifications </h5><p>Education: </p><ul><li>High School education required. </li><li>Must be going into 2nd year of Rad Tech Program </li></ul><p>Licensure/Certification/Registry: </p><ul><li>A Current BLS/CPR certification required within 30 days of hire. Maintain per policy. </li></ul><p>Experience: </p><ul><li>Clerical experience preferred. </li></ul><p>Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: </p><ul><li>Excellent interpersonal and guest relations skills required. </li></ul><h5>Responsibilities </h5><ul><li>Perform clerical duties necessary for patient registration into the Radiology information System. </li><li>Transport patient to and from the imaging procedure room. </li><li>Provide patient assistance during the imaging exam process. </li><li>Utilize proper infection control practice. </li><li>Maintain an excellent guest relations rapport with patients, visitors, Physicians and fellow employees. </li><li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment in area of assignment. </li><li>Stock rooms. </li><li>Fold linen. </li><li>Assist imaging staff with inventory management. </li><li>Take call as required. </li><li>Manage phone calls. </li><li>Under direction of the appropriately licensed staff, mix oral contrast per Radiologist approved protocol. </li><li>Under the direction of the appropriately licensed staff, load the pressure injectors per Radiologist approved protocol. </li><li>Performs other related work as required or requested. </li></ul>
