Must successfully complete the following qualifications within the first 30 days of hire: Pre-employment drug test, background, DOT physical, DOT paperwork, 4-hour Defensive Driving Course, 15-passenger van training, other university required/suggested trainings, acquire a Commercial Driver's License learner's permit, and complete training to test for CDL Class B with passenger endorsement. Per Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, all drivers must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.
