Assist in the drafting of design phase, project development, funding, construction phase and other types of agreements with public and private parties to effectuate Amtrak’s capital program; • Coordinate the negotiation of agreements with Amtrak Law, Finance, Procurement, Operations, Risk, and other relevant departments, to ensure appropriate remuneration and compliance with Amtrak legal and financial requirements and objectives, as well as with Mechanical, Engineering, Labor Relations and Human Resources regarding the negotiation of and compliance with specific corporate requirements; • Assist in the achievement of financial targets and performance measures associated with agency contracts; • Coordinate Amtrak activities with project and funding partners; •Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of construction, engineering/architectural, and consultant contracts, including contract types and terms & conditions. • Coordinate activities of other Amtrak departments involved in providing services to customer agencies, including Real Estate, Government Affairs, Procurement and Materials Management; • Coordinate departmental planning, performance goals, operating and capital budgeting, forecasting and variance explanation, and other cross-account and global issues.
