School Information: Located in Colorado Springs, CO, Mountain View Academy opened in 2020 and serves students K-8. Participate collaboratively and professionally with fellow teachers and support staff to meet the goals and individual needs of each student.
Accepted discipline areas: Chemistry, Biochemistry, Geochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry/Science Education (maximum of 6 graduate credits can be applied to the 18 required), Materials Science, Polymer Science, Chemical Physics or Forensics Chemistry. Minimum QualificationsCompleted Master's degree in a discipline area listed below OR completed Master's degree in any field, with a minimum of 18 graduate credits hours in one of the discipline areas listed below.
Special Note:CTE Programs: Applicants must possess or be eligible to receivethe relative Colorado State Career Technical Education Teaching Credential inorder to qualify for disciplines within CTE Programs. Minimum QualificationsCompleted associate degree, relevant current industry license, or completed certification with 6,000 verified occupational/industry hours obtained within the last seven years.

Duties and Responsibilities:Provide didactic, laboratory and clinical instruction on a variety of topics such as oral anatomy, dental science, dental charting, dental materials, dental radiography, specialties in dentistry, clinical procedures, dental office equipment operation, business office procedures, ethics and jurisprudence, infection control and safety measures, medical emergencies in the dental office, preventive dentistry, nutrition and expanded functions dental assisting in Colorado.
