Location: Santa Fe, NM Duration: 6 to 12+ Months Start Date: January 2025 Shift Schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Monday Friday, 40 hours/ week) Qualifications <ul><li>Education: Bachelor of Science Degree or associate's degree in medical technology, or Clinical Laboratory Science or a primary science (i.e., Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, etc.) </li></ul><ul><li>Experience: must have a minimum of 2 years clinical laboratory experience as a generalist medical technologist </li></ul><ul><li>License: Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Scientist, or as a Clinical Lab Scientist by the appropriate agency (ASCP, AMT, AAB). </li></ul><ul><li>Certification: BLS </li></ul><ul><li> Required Educational copy </li></ul>Responsibilities <ul><li> Provide lab testing, equipment maintenance, and perform procedures in Chemistry, Microbiology, Urinalysis, Coagulations, and Phlebotomy. </li></ul><ul><li> Conduct phlebotomy for all age groups using appropriate techniques (finger sticks, heel sticks, venipuncture). </li></ul><ul><li> Collect specimens following established protocols and ensure quality control. </li></ul><ul><li> Maintain high standards of competence and work independently after completing required competencies. </li></ul><ul><li> Assures preparation of tests for all patients, including performing the test calibrations and calibration verification studies as needed.
