Main functions of the position include: • Providing general grounds keeping and cleaning services at Stone Valley Recreation Area, including mow and trim lawn areas • Operating trucks, tractors, powered ground equipment, and pneumatic tools • Removing brush, leaves, grass clippings, paper, and debris from grounds • May perform minor repairs • Assisting with moving furniture, equipment, and materials • Mopping, sweeping, and cleaning floors • Operating powered janitorial equipment. Campus Recreation is a department within Student Affairs that provides fitness, wellbeing, and recreational programs to the campus community through the operation and administration of the Intramural Building, the McCoy Natatorium, the 700-acre Stone Valley Outdoor Recreation Area, a Tennis Center including six clay courts and four indoor courts, the White Building, Outdoor Adventures, Aquatic Programs, Fitness and Wellbeing Programs, Club Sports, and Intramural Sports.
