This AVP will champion a Student Services division-wide culture of career readiness that integrates the college-directed strategy and goals created to support professional competencies and career connections across the student experience This position will develop and implement a comprehensive Student Services strategy that supports the implementation of career development across the student experience continuum in the departments that report to the VP Student Services; contribute to institutional reporting and compliance for the Division of Student Services related to career support and outcomes, state workforce data tracking, and accreditation requirements; and lead CCD's Division of Student Services student progression infrastructure, integrating advisement of academic, financial, student success technology, and career exploration and readiness into a cohesive system. Given that a majority of CCD students experience financial barriers and constraints and a significant proportion are Pell-eligible, this role ensures that financial aid and financial mastery is fully integrated into the Division of Student Services and supports career readiness and student success strategies to elevate student success progression, persistence, and completion.
