Two years (4,000 hours) of occupational experience in an automotive service technician or related position of which at least one year (2,000 hours) shall be within 5 years prior to the date of hire.

Overview:
<p style="margin:0px">As a part-time instructor you will provide instruction within our Automotive Technician program. Courses will be taught in the Blackboard learning management system platform in a lab environment to meet the needs of this growing industry. Instructors need to lead courses that engage and prepare students for careers in their area of study. </p>

Responsibilities:
<ol style="margin-top:0in"><li>Provide instruction for assigned classes.</li><li>Remain current with industry needs and assure graduate outcomes that meet the workplace expectations.</li><li>Engage in ongoing student learning assessment to determine effectiveness of instruction and curriculum.</li><li>Create a classroom/lab environment that is respectful of diversity and demonstrates a commitment to multiculturalism.</li><li>Maintain accurate student records and reports as requested by administrative offices.</li><li>Identify students needing assistance and refer students to Student Services.
