Transportation Services Manager working out of either our Hopkins, MN or Marshall, MN headquarters, you are responsible for managing the transportation operation by directing the transportation planning, scheduling, and tendering function, the system support functions, the analysis and reporting function, pallet management function, projects management function, carrier rate and service management function, claims management function, and the freight audit function. Direct activities for the freight planning, scheduling, and tendering; freight rate and service negotiation; carrier management and evaluation; freight auditing; freight coding processes; freight payment; information analysis, measurement and dissemination; and special projects including process design and development to ensure the best cost transportation services.
