The Electrician 'A' exercises independent judgment to plan and perform all work involved in the layout, installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of low- and medium-voltage electrical equipment and systems across the University campus. Plan, lay out, install, maintain, and repair low- and medium-voltage electrical systems, including feeders, branch circuits, panelboards, switchgear, transformers, motors, motor controls, and lighting systems.
