While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to: Sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, crawling, stooping, walking, and the ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds; Manual dexterity with the use of hands, fingers to feel objects, tools, and controls; Sighted with color, peripheral, near, and far vision; Hearing and speaking; Excellent English communication skills. The VCS Substitute Teacher is responsible to perform the instructional and classroom management processes for teachers who are absent for a day or longer periods of time.
