20% - Aligns with policies and procedures for instructional program, monitors program guidelines and ensures compliance with applicable policies, regulations, laws, maintenance/repair schedules of instructional program and laboratory including, but not limited to, the safe and efficient operation of the lab and equipment; maintains an organized and safe lab, following OSHA and federal guidelines. 20% - Plans, organizes, assigns, supervises, reviews and evaluates the work of staff; Participates in hiring, discipline and termination activities when necessary; Provides training and guidance in area of expertise; oversees the maintenance of files, records, program materials and documentation as it pertains to the laboratory.
