This position covers all aspects of Marotta's electric motors and their components including winding, insulation systems, magnets, sensors and feedback devices/componentry, motor performance, tooling / fixturing, process controls, failure modes, electrical / mechanical testing and verification, envelop optimization, simulation, modeling and competitive landscape / technologies. Knowledge of design principles, operation, testing, and reliability for motor subcomponents design and development such as magnet wires, insulation systems, laminations, magnets, shaft, bearing, enclosures, EMI, sealing, etc.
