This includes building the knowledge and ability to support all phases necessary to produce high quality potatoes for the Simplot Company such as variety evaluation, trialing various agronomic principles, sampling techniques, planting, growing, harvesting, storage management, and data collection; exposure to these processes will include required travel to the field site for first-hand experience. Field Operations Coordinator role is responsible for supporting raw procurement operations through engaging in potato scheduling for processing as well as to monitor and report on farm supply potato production for quality, storage methods, variety development, and manufacturing.
