Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Serving as first assistant to attending surgeons during surgical procedures and providing patient care under the direction of surgical, medical, anesthesia, and/or radiology attending physicians; • Work in an ambulatory setting to assist MDs with post-operative visits, provide clinical assessment, wound and procedure site check; • Delivering inpatient care by conducting and accurately documenting histories and physicals, consultations, and daily progress notes in accordance with Medical Center policies; • Communicating new or worsening patient findings to the appropriate attending physician in a timely manner; • Participating in departmental staff meetings, programs, and committees; • Providing outpatient care within the Practice; • Prescribing medications and therapeutic interventions with attending physician approval, in compliance with applicable federal and state regulations and PA practice guidelines; • Ensuring accurate and complete documentation to support billing and regulatory compliance; • Providing rotating call coverage, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care across surgical, inpatient, and outpatient settings.
