Candidate Requirements: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Successful completion of an accredited otolaryngology-head and neck surgery residency program Board certification or board eligibility in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery Eligible for medical licensure in New York and/or New Jersey New York medical license required or ability to obtain prior to start New Jersey medical license preferred or ability to obtain, depending on practice location Fellowship training welcomed but not required Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage a broad range of general ENT conditions Interest in building an outpatient and operative practice Excellent communication skills with patients, families, colleagues, staff, and referring physicians Commitment to compassionate, ethical, high-quality patient care Ability to work collaboratively within a growing physician-led group Eligibility for hospital credentialing and medical staff appointment at affiliated regional medical centers DEA registration and controlled substance registration as applicable Professional liability insurability and good standing with prior employers, training programs, and licensing boards5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386 Responsibilities include evaluating and managing patients in the outpatient setting, performing office-based diagnostic and procedural care, developing and maintaining a surgical practice, participating in appropriate hospital or ambulatory surgery center coverage, and collaborating with other specialists and referring physicians.
