ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Core Accountabilities - Operational Leadership: • Executive oversight of perioperative operations ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable surgical care • Optimization of OR throughput, block utilization, first‑case on‑time starts, turnover time, and schedule accuracy • Partnership with OR Medical Director on surgeon engagement, block governance, and peer accountability • Collaboration with Anesthesia AVP on staffing models and perioperative flow • Advancement of High Reliability Organization (HRO) principles. This role operates in a matrixed leadership model, reporting operationally through the SVP/CNO to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient care delivery, while also reporting through the CEO for business strategy, growth, joint venture oversight, and market competitiveness.
