Duties as Surgical Technologist include but not limited to: coordinating instrumentation and sterile field needs for the procedure, preparing the surgical field/back table, assisting surgeon at the field during procedure, assisting other operating room staff as needed. Surgical Technologist Certification with NBSTSA; or may accept NCCT certification IF employed as a surgical tech in state prior to January 1, 2008 or has completed a surgical tech military training program.
