About the RoleIn this role, you will perform a broad range of tasks essential to the safe and efficient operation of the Cardiovascular Operating Room, including:Preparing and arranging the sterile field for surgical proceduresPassing instruments, sponges, and sutures to surgeons and surgical assistantsPreparing, managing, and maintaining sterile suppliesAssisting in cleanup and turnover of the operating roomVerifying the placement and proper functioning of surgical equipmentRestocking the operating room to ensure readiness for upcoming casesManaging specialty trays, graft materials, and other cardiovascular-specific suppliesRecording procedure‑related patient data as neededResponsibilities:Ensure all medications are labeled and handed to surgeon according to established policies and procedures.
