Specific tasks include, but are not limited to: scrubbing surgical cases, assisting surgeons in general, orthopaedic, podiatry, spine, and ENT procedures, cleaning, wrapping, and sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment using autoclave, chemical sterilization method, ordering and stocking supplies, scrubbing for surgical cases, setting up and maintaining sterile field, passing instruments, assisting in admitting and discharging of patients from surgical suite, collecting, labeling and delivering pathological specimens to laboratory, serving as assistant for endoscopic procedures, cleaning equipment between cases.
