Under the direct supervision of an RN, the Labor and Delivery surgical technologist provides care necessary to meet physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of the neonate and women of childbearing age consistent with the philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures of the VBMC nursing department and hospital administration.
