PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assumes principal staff responsibility for major communications and/or marketing programs or projects, including identification of communications or marketing problems and opportunities, assessment of avenues of approach to given communications or marketing needs, preparation of marketing plans, stakeholder communications strategies and/or annual communications plans pertinent to incumbent's assigned areas, execution of such plans and measurement of marketing and/or communications results. SUMMARY: Under general supervision of the SVP of Marketing and Communications, provides marketing support, social media content, writing, primarily for internal communications, proactive media relations, crisis communications, external affairs, issues management and strategic communications planning and consultation with varying areas of emphasis depending upon incumbent's specific assignment.
