Qualifications & Skills The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following education, experience, and abilities: Associate degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred Minimum of 5 years of land surveying experience Demonstrated proficiency with Trimble GPS equipment, robotic total stations, data collectors, and related survey technology Strong understanding of surveying principles, field procedures, and Wisconsin surveying practices Experience with Civil 3D, CAD software, and survey data processing workflows preferred Ability to read and interpret construction plans, plats, legal descriptions, and survey documents Strong mathematical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and terrain conditions Valid drivers license and ability to travel to project sites Commitment to safety, accuracy, and quality workmanship.
