Develops and executes the hospital system's sustainability and decarbonization strategy; Manages sustainability team and recommends sustainability priorities; Leads energy management initiatives, including benchmarking, audits, retro commissioning, and capital improvements; Drives reductions in energy use intensity (EUI), water consumption, waste, and greenhouse gas emissions. Builds strong partnerships within organization teams including but not limited to: Finance, IT, Supply Chain and Facilities Services Teams - Design and Construction, Facilities Engineering, Real Estate, and Property Management, Manages direct consultant relationships, service providers, and commissioning programs.

Duties and ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions:<ul><li>Provides enterprise leadership for engineering operations including but not limited to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, medical gas, life safety, fire protection, building automation systems, Central Utility Plants (CUPs), emergency power and critical infrastructure redundancy.</li><li>Establishes and maintains engineering standards, specifications, and best practices across the system; Reviews and approves designs for infrastructure and design and construction projects.</li><li>Oversees system commissioning program and collaborates with project teams; Supports facility infrastructure planning for renovations, expansions, and new construction projects.</li><li>Develops and executes the hospital system's sustainability and decarbonization strategy; Manages sustainability team and recommends sustainability priorities; Leads energy management initiatives, including benchmarking, audits, retro commissioning, and capital improvements; Drives reductions in energy use intensity (EUI), water consumption, waste, and greenhouse gas emissions.</li><li>Collaborates with clinical and operational leaders to integrate sustainability into care delivery without compromising safety or performance.</li><li>Ensures compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and regulations; Supports emergency preparedness, resilience planning, and climate adaptation strategies</li><li>Develops and manages operating and capital budget for sustainability programs; Provides lifecycle cost analysis and ROI evaluations for energy and infrastructure investments; Partners with Facilities Services team to evaluate projects for capital planning.</li><li>Identifies and manages incentive, rebate, and grant opportunities related to energy and sustainability initiatives; Completes implementation and manages utility bill pay system in partnership with partners.</li><li>Builds strong partnerships within organization teams including but not limited to: Finance, IT, Supply Chain and Facilities Services Teams - Design and Construction, Facilities Engineering, Real Estate, and Property Management,</li><li>Manages direct consultant relationships, service providers, and commissioning programs.</li></ul>Common Expectations:<ul><li>Ability to evaluate personal and team priorities and redirect as necessary to meet expectations.</li><li>Provides outstanding service to all customers.</li><li>Fosters teamwork within Design and Construction, Facilities and project support teams.</li></ul>Travel Requirements:<ul><li>Estimated Amount: 20% - Travel throughout the System.</li></ul>

About the Role: We are seeking a strategic and people-centric Principal Change Management Consultant to introduce and lead a change enablement function across 4–5 multi-year, enterprise-wide technology transformations. These include the implementation of an employee AI Center of Excellence, employee experience transformation, and the consolidation/modernization of duplicate employee applications and tools. This role focuses on addressing the human element in the change process, ensuring synchronization with technical aspects to promote seamless transitions. Help employees stay engaged, enhancing productivity and morale.________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: Change Strategy & Planning • Define the vision and objectives for each technology initiative. • Assess the impact of IT changes on employees, business stakeholders, and customers. • Develop structured change enablement roadmaps with clear milestones. • Identify key risks and develop mitigation strategies. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication • Identify and analyze key stakeholders who will be impacted by the change. • Develop a stakeholder engagement plan to ensure their involvement and support throughout the change process. • Communicate the vision, goals, and benefits of the change to all stakeholders. • Establish open and transparent communication channels to address concerns and provide updates. • Foster a culture of collaboration and inclusivity to ensure stakeholder buy-in and commitment.to address concerns and provide updates. Technology Adoption & Enablement • Design and implement training programs for employees adopting new systems. • Establish support mechanisms (e.g., service desk, user guides, champions). • Monitor adoption rates and refine enablement strategies. • Promote self-service resources to ease transitions. Continuous Improvement & Change Sustainability • Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the change initiatives. • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement. • Use data and feedback to make informed decisions and adjustments to the change management strategy. • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging innovation and learning. • Ensure that the changes are sustainable and become an integral part of the organization's operations.. • Ensure long-term sustainability of implemented changes. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Change, Business, IT, or related field. • 7+ years of experience in change management, organizational development, or IT transformation. • Proven experience leading enterprise-wide change initiatives. • Strong understanding of change management methodologies (e.g., ADKAR, Prosci). • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and facilitation skills. • Experience working in cross-functional, matrixed environments. Preferred Qualifications: • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related field. • Change Management Certification (e.g., Prosci, CCMP). • Experience with digital transformation, AI enablement, or employee experience platforms. • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps environments. • Experience in a global or multi-national organization. • Strong data analysis and reporting skills to measure change effectiveness. The pay range for this position is $129,500 to $186,100. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and work location.
