Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering (systems, civil, electrical, computer, etc.), Computer Science, or related field; This is a multigrade position and the candidate's experience, education, and achievement of competencies will determine the applicable multi-grade rating as well as the progress through the career ladder; Engineer I: No experience is required. Engineer III: 2 years of experience can be substituted for tow of the following certifications/trainings: Arlington County Project Officer; VDOT Advanced Work Zone certifications; Completion of 40 hours of FHWA, VDOT, NACTO, ITE, or UVA-TTA training.
