This position provides 24x7 Real-Time Operations support and manages the status of Entergy’s generation fleet in the Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) in compliance with the MISO Energy and Operating Reserves Market Tariff and associated Business Practice Manuals (BPMs) with frequent communication with generating plant personnel, MISO, fossil fuel supply group, day ahead market operations, Transmission Control Center (TCC), and the Local Balancing Authority (LBA). Additional Responsibilities: As a provider of essential services, Entergy expects its employees to be available to work additional hours, to work in alternate locations, and/or to perform additional duties in connection with storms, outages, emergencies, or other situations as deemed necessary by the company.
