The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our accounting department, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger postings, and labor cost allocation. In addition, the Permanent Controller will play a crucial role in preparing and maintaining our daily banking schedule, conducting variance analysis, and managing month-end and year-end close processes. This role also involves preparing monthly financial statements, tax deposits, and conducting cost accounting, reporting, and financial analysis activities. The Permanent Controller will also assist the CFO in preparing external reports and managing asset strategies. Responsibilities: <ul><li> Direct and oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable</li><li> Ensure accurate general ledger postings and proper allocation of direct labor costs related to cost centers</li><li> Prepare and maintain daily banking schedule</li><li> Conduct actual to budget or variance analysis</li><li> Manage month-end and year-end close processes</li><li> Prepare monthly financial statements and tax deposits</li><li> Conduct cost accounting, reporting, and financial analysis activities</li><li> Assist the CFO in the preparation of external reports, including income tax returns and property tax returns</li><li> Support the CFO in asset management strategies, cash flow forecasting, cash management, and financing strategies</li><li> Provide support to the CFO during external audits</li></ul> Qualifications: <ul><li> Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field</li><li> Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role</li><li> Advanced knowledge of accounting and financial principles and practices</li><li> Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel</li><li> Strong understanding of data analysis and forecasting</li><li> Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy</li><li> Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks</li><li> Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li> Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li> Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment</li><li> Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is preferred.</li></ul> Interested in hearing more? This role works closely with the Accounting Manager and internal departments to ensure accurate financial records, compliance with regulations, and timely reporting.

<div><div><h2>Job Title: Staff Accountant</h2><h3>Position Summary</h3>The Staff Accountant supports daily accounting operations, payroll processing, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting.
