Assess and analyze tax implications of merger and acquisition transactions; Develop tax-efficient structuring solutions for clients; Identify potential tax risks and opportunities; Prepare and review tax returns and other necessary tax documents; Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations; Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including attorneys and other advisors, to implement tax strategies; Provide tax advisory services to clients, including advising on tax implications of different merger and acquisition strategies; Stay updated on tax legislation changes that may impact merger and acquisition transactions; Support McNees’ Corporate & Tax practice group; Collaborate with and support other practice groups at McNees; Assist in the negotiation process from a tax perspective; Communicate tax strategies to clients and stakeholders; Conduct thorough research and analysis; Assist attorney with various technical tax issues; Requirements: Our services span corporate law, real estate and construction, labor and employment, litigation, tax, intellectual property, energy and environmental, estate planning, and public sector law, complemented by affiliated businesses like Apollo Communications (strategic marketing and PR), Keystone Municipal Solutions (municipal consulting), and Pine Street Land Company (title and settlement services).
