Supports patient care delivery by helping health care providers during examinations, preparing laboratory specimens, performing laboratory tests, running point of care test, drawing blood, preparing patients for x-rays and other radiology tests, Vital signs, pain scale, performing electrocardiograms. JOB SUMMARY: The Emergency Department Technician (EDT) will assist in the delivery of care in the Emergency Department under the direct supervision of a practicing physician, physician assistant, and/or licensed nurse.
