Regular tasks include analyzing tax and economic data using computer programming and software packaging; maintaining databases of information including various state and national data; reviewing proposed and enacted federal and state legislation to determine the revenue impact to the State; developing forecasts of State revenue components; writing narratives of selected tax and economic components for inclusion in Division and Department reports and publications. Training: A masters degree from an accredited university in public or business administration, economics, statistics, mathematics, public policy, finance, operations research, regional planning, urban studies, geology, mining engineering, petroleum land management, computer science, industrial engineering or system analysis or a closely related field.
