Under the direction of the Site Supervisor, assumes responsibilities for instructing and supervising groups of children, preparing and following lesson plans, assessing, and documenting children’s development, and supervising teacher’s assistant and volunteer staff assigned. Organize and implement a positive and comfortable routine within the room by establishing realistic limits for the children, by effectively using time, providing for active and quiet activities, and by planning orderly transitions from on activity to another.
